Dancing – a big part of human life by Star Dancewear
Dance has been a part of human life since the very beginning and for the majority of time has given so much pleasure and excitement to people. To begin with dance was used in rituals, the ancient Egyptians Priest and Priestesses using it to mine significant events in their dedication to the gods, Egyptian women using Dance to express the grief of mourners, the Greeks using it in honour of the gods, and in India specific Dance movements, each having their own significant meaning, were performed in the Hindu temples.
Today Dance is performed throughout our society, by all ages, and many religions. The main purpose of dance today if for social enjoyment, be it dancing at a party for fun, or watching a professional ballerina on the stage. There are many forms of dance including Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Ballroom, Latin, Street, Hip Hop, and Irish. Many dancers start at an early age and dance for enjoyment, exercise, and fun.
Those dancers who have a talent and a love for dancing may continue to dance professionally, making a career doing something they enjoy.
Part of being a successful dancer is to ensure the right dancewear is used for the dance that is being performed. The ballet dancers need to ensure the right style and fitting of ballet shoe is used, the tap dancers need to ensure the correct taps are fitted to both their heels and toes, and the modern dancers needs to ensure the jazz shoes or dance sneakers they are wearing give full support and flexibility to the foot. As well as shoes the appropriate dance clothing needs to be worn. Dancewear needs to fit the dancer to ensure ease of movement and to show their lines when dancing, so the full effect of their dance is seen by the audience, so the leotard, leggings, trousers, dresses need to chosen with care.
Dance is becoming more popular and it will always be part of our lives. Today TV shows such as Strictly Come Dancing, So you think you can Dance and Pineapple Studios, fuels our love of this art, showing us that everyone can dance, and what a wonderful form of expression it can be, as well as a great way to exercise. Part of the enjoyment is the clothes, albeit the gorgeous ballroom dress and shoes, the lovely Tutu and Tiara or the funky T-shirt with the cool sneakers, everyone likes to feel good in what they are wearing and choosing the right dancewear is no exception.
